The game officially releases on April 24, 2025, but some players already got a sneak peek during the first open beta in February.

That first beta included three online modes, an offline tutorial, and eight playable characters. Fans loved it and wanted more—so SNK is bringing a second open beta!

Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Second Open Beta: Dates and What’s New

SNK has announced the dates for the second open beta of Fatal Fury City of Wolves, giving players another chance to try the game. Whether you played in February or are joining for the first time, you’ll get to explore even more. The beta runs from March 27 to March 31 March 27 to March 31 and includes additional content from the first test.

This beta now includes five online modes, plus a leaderboard system and an online profile feature. These additions will let players track their progress, show off their skills, and compete against others in a more engaging way.

Offline play isn’t being left behind either! Alongside the tutorial, this beta introduces Training Mode and Classic Versus Mode, both of which were missing from the first test. Now, players have more freedom to practice and fight without needing an internet connection.

The character lineup is growing, with Tizoc officially joining the fight! This brings the total number of playable fighters to nine, giving fans even more variety in matchups.
