EA and DICE have introduced the War Machine event in Battlefield 2042, featuring three limited-time game modes, including the all-new Rush Override, a 4v28 PvE experience. This event runs from March 18 to April 15.

The War Machine event brings fresh content to Battlefield 2042, offering three new game modes, including Rush Override, where four players must battle against waves of 28 AI-controlled enemies.

Additionally, Domination and King of the Hill will be introduced starting April 1. Players can also progress through a 30-tier event pass and purchase exclusive in-game store items.

New 4v28 PvE Mode Explained

In War Machine, players must work together to stop a rogue AI threatening humanity. The mode challenges squads to wipe out relentless AI-controlled enemies before they can take control.

This mode is only available for a limited time and comes with a 30-tier event pass filled with rewards for those who survive the challenge.

What to Expect from War Machine Event

In addition to Rush Override, players can also try out:

  • Domination Mode: A classic battle where teams fight to control key objectives.
  • King of the Hill (Available April 1): Players must hold a critical position for as long as possible.
  • Event Pass: Unlock 7 Specialist skins, 8 weapon skins, and other limited-time rewards.
