Dune: Awakening – Pre-orders Now Available
After the announcement of Dune Awakening’s release date on 20 February 2025, Funcom has delivered another key update. On 24 March 2025, they confirmed that pre-orders are now officially live. Allowing players to reserve their copies ahead of the official launch on 20 May 2025.
Along with the announcement, Funcom revealed three editions of the game: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Edition. Each edition comes with its own set of exclusive content, offering:
- Standard: Base game and Pre-order Bonus (Terrarium of Muad’Dib and Sunset Dye Global Swatch)
- Deluxe: Game, Pre-order Bonus, Season Pass, Sardaukar Bator Armor. Plus Early Access from 15 May (for pre-orders)

Dune: Awakening – Business Model, Post-Launch Content, and Latest Updates
As the game’s launch approaches, Funcom has also shared key details about Dune: Awakening’s business model. The game will feature free content updates alongside optional DLCs and a Season Pass. Players can expect regular updates that will enhance their experience.
Additionally, players will have the option to join a regular server, where there will be no advantage for those who purchase the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions early. Other confirmed features at launch include those shared in the official Steam post, such as:
- Nvidia DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation support
- AMD FSR Upscaling and Frame Gen support
- Intel XeSS 2 Upscaling and Low Latency (XeLL)
- Support for controllers and custom key bindings
- Ultrawide 21:9 and 32:9 display support
- Frame Rate Limiter and Adjustable Field of View (FOV) Slider
