EA Play Loses Two Games by the End of March
While it’s rare, EA Play does occasionally remove games from its collection. March 2025 is one such instance, with two titles set to leave by the end of the month. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising was already taken down on March 14, while Frostpunk is scheduled to exit on March 28.
The removal of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is particularly significant because it has now been fully delisted from digital storefronts. This means that players who wanted to buy the game separately no longer have that option.
EA has not officially announced the removal of these games from the EA Play catalog. However, observant players have noticed updates on EA’s Online Services Shutdown page, which now lists both Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising and Frostpunk.
For EA Play subscribers, this is a reminder that while the service generally keeps its library stable, removals do happen.
