Fallout 76: New Gameplay Features from Ghoul Update

The Ghoul Within update brings a major shift to Fallout 76’s gameplay. Along with the introduction of the Ghoul class, players can now enjoy a variety of new perks and additions, including:

• Feral Meter and Glow: The Feral Meter replaces the Hunger and Thirst mechanics, where a high Feral state boosts melee combat at the expense of Charisma and Weapon Accuracy. The Glow tracks radiation damage, unlocking specific abilities as you progress.
• Ghoul Perks: There are 30 new Perk Cards tailored to utilizing the Feral Meter and Glow, offering devastating new abilities.
• Quest to Become a Ghoul: A new quest, “Leap of Faith,” available at level 50, lets players become a Ghoul. It’s a one-time-only quest, but you can reverse the transformation using Atoms to return to human form.
